Zakaria Gold Commodities (Pvt) Limited, the first formal company for online and physical gold trading in Pakistan, is set to begin operations on January 30, 2024.
Approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange, the company aims to eliminate speculation and price manipulation in the gold market. Dr. Bu Abdullah, Chairman of the Bu Abdullah Group in the UAE, will inaugurate the online bullion trading company.
The approval from SECP and PMEX is expected to bring stability to the market and eliminate the black market for bullion. Daily gold rates will be displayed outside the company's office.
