Parent interference is also a hectic factor in the life of a student and a teacher. Sometimes it reduces the lack of trust between student and teacher.

Minor and individual problems of teachers are left behind. It's an open call to all teachers in Pakistan, let's have a fruitful discussion on how to overcome these problems and how to meet with these challenges of teachers in Pakistan??
First I would like to declare that I am not a teacher but looking forward to become one in future In shaa Allah. I observe my teachers keenly as they are the people from whom I get motivated. In countries like Pakistan, it is considered to be a noblest profession especially for females. But even then there are certain issues being faced by teachers whether they are in government sector or private as mentioned;

Work burden is not something which a teacher cannot handle. To overcome this challenge there is need to do some planning and use different effective strategies to manage everything without being frustrated. A sober teacher usually pre-plan every task which he/she have during their teaching session. Such teacher manage their work and time accordingly by not delaying their duties but rather doing these on time till the end of their session.

Propaganda and politics in school is the challenge that is not restricted to teaching profession only but in other also this is quite obvious. It is human nature that people get jealous or possessive when they see others living successful lives so is the case here that teachers feels possessive when the see some other teacher more appreciated. A common sensible teacher knows how to tackle this situation with patience and not just reacting to that in unprofessional way.

Lack of respect is not something which we can generalize but it is related to some limited experiences. In Islam great respect and dedication is given to a teacher who is honest in fulfilling his/her duties. In some cases it can be said that teachers are disrespected by their students or some other people who are either superior in status or post to them but mostly they are respected everywhere. A teacher should be strong enough to gain such a status that everyone get to know their honor and value.

A teacher should be trained enough so that he/she can control their students’ behavior in the classrooms. They should be able to create such an environment in which a student feels comfort as well as respected towards the teacher. It could be done by structuring the curriculum in such a way that students do not feel boredom but enjoy study in their limited freedom to be frank and respectful to their teacher. It could be achieved by arranging different activities in the class to create a healthy environment for learning.

Lack of resources is also a major issue being faced by teachers that they have to manage everything in their limited budget. While in this modern world there is dire need of technology to do some research or study projects. This thing is lacking here in Pakistan. Gradually we can overcome this issue by adopting some favorable techniques on the part of govt. and institutional management.

In government sectors, there are frequent transfers of teachers from one school to the other. It not only affects them but to the students also, who are also experienced with many teachers just in a single year which is not a good sign that would ultimately affect their studies. Government should make some policies regarding this issue and strict rules to be followed.

Parents’ unnecessary involvement is something to be dealt quit professionally. Teachers should be a visionary person who senses the situation and knows how to calm it by avoiding to loose own temper. As it happens in schools parents come to the school and blame the teachers of their child’s low performance and grades in academics so a teacher should not counter claim them but get them to their comfort zone and then implicitly tells them the reality and console them by showing a positive attitude towards the learning of their child and describing techniques that how to make the child a better learner.

To conclude, Pakistan is a developing country and no doubt people of Pakistan have great stamina to do wonders in every field of life whether it is teaching or some other fields.

There are some of the problems I would like to talk on:
Work burden:Work burden is not only faced by teachers but also students and every other person who works feels that.Even a wife and mother feels the burden of work as great power brings great responsibilities. Work burden cannot be reduced but done accordingly. If we manage our time according to our priorities then we will be able to reduce the anxiety that comes along with work burden.
Lack of respect/students behaviour:Not every student gives respect to teachers and in fact now a days its becoming prominent that young generation feels that they know everything and also that they give fees and teachers are being paid to teach us,this stance really needs to be changed. In this respect, teachers can only make the environment of the class according to his/her own criteria.Because not every student knows the difference between frankness and being friendly.Teacher should not be too polite or submissive.Teacher should be somehow authoritative and dominant and have full grip on his/her lecture.Otherwise its all about,''Ba adab ba naseeb, bey adab bey naseeb''.
Propaganda and politics in school:
It is human nature that some are more favoured than others.Same is the case with teachers, some teachers become favourite or famous due to some reasons,so they are being targeted. Not only teachers face this but also students because some teachers also do favouritism. So every human should not be biased or partial in any case.
Lack of resources:Even though teachers have full grip on their content of lecture but still due to the lack of modern technologies like projectors, experiment equipments in lab, students do not understand the technicality of modern age.Government has taken an initiative step by giving laptops but technology at educational institutions needs to be more advanced so government should take steps to provide these facilities.
Lack of facilities and other funds:Teaching is the most noble profession but still it is not considered as important as being doctor and engineer. But we all need to understand that it is a teacher who makes a person doctor and engineer.Government should give more facilities to teachers and they should also be given opportunity to be introduced at international level.
Frequent transfers:Government needs to understand that not only teachers get affected but students also feel psychological issues.Government should reduce the frequent transfers and in this respect teachers can only adjust themselves according to the environment that most of them do.
Status discrimination:Teachers feel status discrimination because students do discriminate between teachers due to their background.Teachers coming from different social background or social status feel discriminated. Not only students discriminate but even teachers themselves discriminate each other because of social status.Every person needs to change their perspective and should see the ability of a person and the knowledge he/she has rather status.
Parents interference:Parents involvement is good but excess of everything is bad.Parents are concerned for their children so they want to have knowledge of everything that what their child is being through. But when parents involvement can become a hurdle in their children's success then parents should give their child space and also leave decision making process developed in their children. Most of the female teachers do not avail opportunities because of their family interference.
(These are just personal opinions,so other people can have different perspectives and view of looking at things differently. So do guide me if I am lacking something.Positive and negative criticism is welcomed. :))
